Ingredients of Asian BBQ sauce:

    • We used Stubbs’s original BBQ sauce.
    • Maple Syrup 3 Tbsp
    • We used Tamari brand low sodium soya sauce.

Instructions

      1. Mix the three ingredients for the sauce and set aside.
      2. Add 1 Tbsp of oil to a heavy, large pan or wok and heat it over high heat. Once oil is hot, add beef and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir, and cook for another 2 minutes or until almost cooked. Add ginger and garlic, season lightly with pepper, and saute for 1 minute.
      3. Stir-fry beef for another minute or until it is cooked through. I added 5 Tbsp of sauce. Cover the meat and transfer it to a warm plate. Use a paper towel to wipe the pan.
      4. Add 1 Tbsp of oil to a clean pan and place it over high heat. When the oil is hot enough, add the mushrooms. Season lightly with salt and pepper, then stir-fry until golden (5 minutes). Transfer the mushrooms and beef to a plate.
      5. Stir fry the vegetables and onion in 1 Tbsp of oil for 8 minutes or until soft and golden.
      6. Stir fry until heated. Serve over white rice.
