Roast potatoes air fryer

Air fry potatoes to get crispy roasties and a fluffy center. The perfect side dish to a Sunday roast

Ingredients

  • 1kg Maris Piper potatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive or sunflower oil

Method

  • STEP 1
    • Make sure the pieces are manageable. Steam the potatoes for 5 minutes in a steamer set over boiling water or simmer them for 5 minutes. Drain well.
  • STEP 2
  • Pour the potatoes into the bottom of the air-fryer. Toss the potatoes with the oil to make sure they are evenly coated. The paddle can set the fryer at 190degC and cook for 30 minutes. If the potatoes don’t look cooked, cook them for 5-10 minutes more if you think they aren’t brown or tender enough. Season the potatoes well.

    • You can add a bit of flour to the potatoes before placing them in the fryer. This will give the potatoes an extra crisp.
