How do you layer a lasagna?
Layering is the key to a good bake. It would help if you were organized, so lay out all three components of the lasagne before you begin.
The bolognese is.
Bechamel sauce.
The pasta sheets.
- Spread a thin layer of bolognese over the bottom of an ovenproof dish.
- Next, add a single layer of pasta sheets. Some sheets may need to be broken up into smaller pieces to fit.
- Spread a thin white sauce or bechamel over the top and continue until you have used both spices.
- Finish by adding a layer of white sauce or bolognese, depending on what you have left. Sprinkle with cheese.
Tip Be careful not to overdo it with the sauce. Otherwise, you will end up with an unattractive mess.
