The combination of bacon and cheese has been a long-standing culinary tradition, whether in mac and cheese, pizza, macaroni, cheese, or a quiche Lorraine. The smokiness in bacon pairs well with any cheese, from mild ricotta to pungent blue cheese. This recipe for bacon and cheese loaf combines three types of cheese: cream cheese, mozzarella, and tasty. The bacon is cooked with onions until crispy and mixed with the cheese. This dish, baked in a crisp bread shell until it becomes molten, is an excellent addition to any occasion, whether serving it at a dinner party or a cocktail reception.
