Notes

Recipe NotesMelting butter, golden Syrup, and Mars Bars: You can melt ingredients on a stovetop, in a microwave, or with a Thermomix. Mars Bars won’t melt completely, but they will remain in small chunks. This is fine. Use a new box of rice krispies or rice bubbles. This will make your slice crispy and crunchy. Press the mixture into a lined and greased baking pan. Press the mixture down firmly to prevent it from breaking apart when you cut it. Add coconut oil or vegetable oils to the milk chocolate. It will prevent it from breaking when sliced. Set time – Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. (Overnight is ideal). Cut the slice. Allow the chocolate to soften slightly by removing the piece from the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cutting. Cut through the chocolate layer, then the rice bubbles. Store the details – Mars Bar Slices can be kept in a refrigerator in an airtight container for up to a week. You can freeze it for up to a month.
