How to make my cheesy potato bake
Slice the potatoes thinly, either with a mandolin or by hand. Combine the cream, garlic, and lots of pepper and salt.
Spread a layer of potatoes on the bottom of a dish that can be baked. Pour some of the creamy mixture over the cheese and sprinkle some more on top. Continue to layer the potatoes until all slices are used.
The dish is ready when the potatoes are cooked, and the top is golden. When the potatoes are golden and the top is cooked, the word is done.
