These Spiderwebs are an incredibly easy Halloween candy, and everyone will love the great combination of salty, crunchy pretzels with smooth, sweet white chocolate. If you don’t want to draw the spider in the middle of the web, you can place a raisin or chocolate chip in the center to represent the spider.
This cute and simple treat is just as tasty as it is adorable! These are great to bring to your child’s Halloween party or for spooky snacks before heading out to trick-or-treat. Servings: 10
Ingredients
- Pretzel sticks (approximately 12 per web)
- 2 cups white chocolate candy melts
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate candy melts
- 10 gummy spiders
Equipment
- Parchment paper
- Cookie sheets
Method
- In separate bowls that are microwave-safe, place candy melts. Microwave for 30 seconds, stirring every so often, until the candy melts are completely melted. They will burn if they are too hot.
- Place a small amount of white chocolate candy melts onto a parchment-covered cookie sheet. You can place 12 pretzel sticks in a circle shape by wrapping one end in chocolate.
- To achieve the “web” effect, drizzle 2 tablespoons of white chocolate over the pretzel “fan”.
- Use a fork to drizzle a small amount of dark chocolate over the web. (If desired, you can do this in a circular motion).
- You can place a piece of gummy spider candy anywhere you like and add a little bit more chocolate if needed to make it stick.
- If they are not hardened, you can put them in the fridge to speed up their hardening.
- Take the parchment paper off carefully and enjoy!
