Slow cook massaman curry

Ingredients

  • Cubed 600g chuck steak
  • 300g chat potatoes quartered
  • Finely chop one brown onion
  • 210g massaman Thai Curry Paste
  • Two tablespoons plain flour
  • Massel* Chicken Style Stock
  • Coconut cream 400ml
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • Lemon juice, one tablespoon
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 2 cups of white rice *to be served

Method

    1. Add potatoes and onions to the slow cooker. Add coconut cream, curry paste, and mix.
    2. Add the chicken stock, fish sauce, lemon juice, and brown sugar. Add fish sauce, lemon juice, and brown sugar.
    3. Add the steak to a plastic bag, then shake it until the meat is covered in flour. Add steak to slow cooker.
    4. Slow cook on low for eight hours. Serve with rice.
